Shipping Policy

All orders are subject to federal, state, and local law and to manual review. If we can’t legally ship an item to your location, we’ll contact you. Last reviewed: September 2026.

How Firearms Ship

Firearms ship only to a licensed dealer (FFL), never to your door.
Handguns must ship to a dealer in your state of residence.
Your receiving dealer handles your state’s background check, permit, age, and waiting-period requirements.

No Shipping (All Firearms & Accessories)

We do not ship any firearms, serialized parts, or restricted accessories to the following locations:

Massachusetts (MA)
Washington, D.C. (DC)
Puerto Rico (PR)
Illinois: Chicago & Cook County specifically (IL)

Restricted Firearms

These states ban or restrict sales of certain semi-automatic firearms (often called “assault weapon” laws). We manually review every order to these states and ship only compliant firearms:

California (CA)
Colorado (CO): since August 1, 2026, buyers of most semi-automatic rifles and shotguns with detachable magazines, and gas-operated semi-automatic handguns, must hold a state firearms safety eligibility card.
Connecticut (CT)
Delaware (DE)
Hawaii (HI)
Illinois (IL)
Maryland (MD)
New Jersey (NJ): a July 2026 federal appeals ruling against the ban is on hold while the U.S. Supreme Court reviews it, so the ban is still enforced.
New York (NY)
Rhode Island (RI): sales ban took effect July 1, 2026.
Washington (WA)

Handguns shipped to California or Maryland must be on that state’s approved handgun roster.

Magazine Capacity Limits

We will not ship magazines, or firearms that come with magazines, that exceed the legal capacity limit of the buyer’s state. We do not open factory-sealed boxes to remove non-compliant magazines.

10-round limit: CA, CT, HI (handgun magazines), IL (long guns), MD, NJ, NY, RI, VT (long guns), WA
15-round limit: CO, IL (handguns), VT (handguns)
17-round limit: DE

Ammunition Restrictions

Ammunition ships by ground only, never by air, and must comply with state background-check and permit laws.

We do not ship ammunition to: AK, HI, and PR (no ground service), DC, and MA
Must ship to a licensed dealer or vendor (no direct-to-door): CA, NY
Copy of permit/ID required before we ship: CT (pistol permit or ammunition certificate), IL (FOID card), NJ (FPIC or handgun purchase permit)

Suppressors & NFA Items

We cannot transfer suppressors to residents of: CA, DE, HI, IL, MA, NJ, NY, RI, and Washington, D.C.
The federal tax stamp for suppressors and short-barreled rifles has been $0 since January 1, 2026.
Short-barreled rifles (SBRs) still require an approved ATF Form 4 before transfer, and several states restrict or ban them. We verify before every sale.
Suppressor paperwork changed after an August 2026 federal court ruling, and what applies now depends on your state and the current status of that case. We’ll tell you exactly what’s required before you buy.

Laws Currently in the Courts

Oregon (OR): Measure 114’s 10-round magazine limit and permit-to-purchase are not in effect while the Oregon Supreme Court reviews them. The earliest they could take effect is January 1, 2028.
Virginia (VA): a new ban on certain semi-automatic firearms and magazines over 15 rounds is currently blocked by a state court injunction.
U.S. Supreme Court: the Court has agreed to decide whether state bans on AR-15-style rifles are constitutional. That decision could change several of the rules above.
