Our Story
About Big Mike’s Outpost
Big Mike’s Outpost was founded in August 2021 in Floresville, Texas, by Kristy and “Big Mike.” From day one, they set out to bring Christian values and ethics into the gun shop.
In those early days, Jett and Kyle of Floresville were an integral part of our start. Together, the team gave the Wilson County area a shopping and service experience unlike any other, and we’re grateful for everything they helped build.
Precision Forged Ministries
What began as a Bible study held every Tuesday night in our Floresville store grew into something more. In 2025, Big Mike and a new friend, Colten, started Precision Forged Ministries, which still meets as a home-based church and ministry in Wilson County.
Now in Seguin
In the fall of 2025, BMO moved into Dees Emporium in Seguin, Texas, and Seguin has welcomed Big Mike and the crew with big, warm smiles. Since November 2025, Big Mike has worked to make the Outpost an educational place to shop: we review what you actually need and, when it helps, walk you through parts selection, how things function, and which accessories make sense. With the help of a few of his Friends along the way, Colten, Chris, and Corey, BMO Seguin is off to a strong start!
